手や腕を頭の上から下に動かして行う動作のこと。スポーツの投げ方や結び目などで使われる。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

スポーツや結び目をつくる際によく使われます。「underhand」（アンダーハンド）の反対です。動詞としてはあまり使いません。
