많은 사람들이 한 번에 한 곳에 모이거나 나타날 때 사용하는 표현입니다.

비격식 또는 중립적. 행사, 세일, 시위 등에 사람들이 대거 몰리는 상황을 강조할 때 자주 쓰임. 주로 사람을 대상으로 하지만 동물에도 사용 가능. 소규모에는 사용하지 않음.

People came out in droves to see the fireworks.
