Definition

「オルド」とは、生物の分類でいくつかの科をまとめた「目」を指すラテン語です。日常会話では使われません。

主に生物学の専門用語として使われます。「Order: Carnivora」など分類名でのみ登場し、日常会話の「順番」や「命令」には使いません。

In biology, 'Canidae' belongs to the ordo Carnivora.

生物学では、「Canidae」は**オルド** Carnivoraに属します。
