কিছু চমকপ্রদ বা সুন্দর কিছু দেখলে বিস্ময়, উচ্ছ্বাস বা প্রশংসা প্রকাশ করতে ‘ওউ’ শব্দ করা।

মূলত কথা বলার সময় বা গল্পে ব্যবহৃত হয়; সাধারণত কাউকে মুগ্ধ বা অবাক করলে 'ওউ' শব্দ করা হয়। 'oohing and aahing' বলতে একসাথে প্রশংসা বা বিস্ময় প্রকাশ বোঝায়।
