어떤 이야기가 현재 논의 중인 주제와 관련이 없을 때 '주제에서 벗어나다'라고 말합니다. 즉, 중심 내용과 상관없는 이야기를 할 때 사용합니다.

비공식 자리에서 상대방이 주제와 관련 없는 이야기를 할 때 자연스럽게 본론으로 유도할 때 사용합니다. 'off topic'도 같은 맥락으로 사용됩니다.
