自分の考えや行動を他人の説得にもかかわらず変えようとしない性質です。かなり頑固な様子を表します。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
主に文章やフォーマルな場面で使われ、「stubbornness」よりも否定的な印象があります。人やその意見・行動を表すときに使われ、動物にはあまり使いません。
