誰かに正式に何かを知らせること。特に重要な知らせや変更について。

“notify of”はフォーマルで、ビジネスや公的な場面でよく使われます。'of'の後に通知内容がきます。'inform'よりも堅い表現です。'notify to'は誤用。

Please notify me of any changes to the schedule.
