Hiç konuşmamak ya da özellikle konuşması beklendiğinde veya bir sır saklanması gerektiğinde sessiz kalmak anlamına gelir.
Usage Notes (Turkish)
Çoğunlukla emir biçiminde (“Ağzını açma!”) kullanılır. 'Sessiz ol' ifadesinden daha doğrudur; gerçek anlamda fiziksel ağız açmayla karıştırılmamalı.
