あまり（多く）ない特に何も

Definition

ごく少し、または特に何もないことを表すカジュアルな表現。あいさつへの返答や数量が少ない時に使われます。

主に口語で「What's up?」と聞かれたときの返答や、「not much sugar」のように数量を表す時によく使います。使いすぎに注意。

—What are you doing? —Not much.

―何してるの？ ―**特に何も**。

There is not much time left before the test.

テストまで**あまり**時間がありません。

There is not much sugar in the jar.

ビンの中には**あまり**砂糖がありません。

—Hey, what's up? —Not much, just relaxing at home.
