지명하다추천하다

Definition

누군가를 공식적으로 직책, 일, 상 등에 추천하거나 임명하는 것.

선거, 시상식, 위원회 등 공식 상황에서 사용됨. '회장으로 지명하다', '오스카 후보로 추천하다'처럼 쓴다. 일상적인 초대에는 'invite'를 쓴다.

The company nominates one employee for the award each year.
