시끄럽거나 불쾌하고 원하지 않는 여러 종류의 소리. 사람, 동물, 기계 또는 환경에서 들릴 수 있습니다.
Usage Notes (Korean)
'Loud noises', 'strange noises', 'background noise'와 같이 부정적인 의미로 많이 쓰입니다. 'Noise'는 주로 불편함을 암시하며, 'sound'는 좀 더 중립적입니다. 'Make noises'는 간접적으로 어떤 신호를 보낸다는 뜻으로도 쓰입니다.
