불가능안 돼

Definition

어떤 일이 허용되지 않거나 불가능하거나 되지 않을 때 쓰는 표현입니다.

매우 비격식적인 표현이므로 공식적인 글이나 자리에서는 사용하지 마세요. '안 돼', '불가능'과 비슷하게, 제안이나 계획을 거절할 때 씁니다.

The meeting is a no go without the boss.

상사가 없으면 회의는 **불가능**이야.

Traveling to that country right now is a no go.

지금 그 나라로 여행 가는 건 **안 돼**.

Wearing jeans to the wedding is a no go.

결혼식에 청바지 입는 건 **불가능**이야.

I asked my manager for Friday off, but it was a no go.
