ナイトシャツは、睡眠時に着るゆったりとした長めのシャツで、主に男性用です。上半身を覆い、膝まで、またはそれより長くなっています。

'ナイトシャツ'は伝統的な男性用の寝間着で、現代のパジャマ（二枚組）や女性用のネグリジェ（nightgown）とは異なります。昔のイメージが強い単語です。
