"next" in Korean

Definition

시간, 순서, 위치에서 바로 뒤에 오는 것 또는 사람을 말함.

주로 명사 앞에서 사용됨('다음 날', '다음 사람'), 대명사처럼도 사용('다음은 누구?'). 공식적인 상황에서는 'following'과 구분해야 함.

I will see you the next day.

나는 너를 **다음** 날에 볼 거야.

Who is next in line?

줄에서 **다음**은 누구인가요?

My birthday is next week.

내 생일은 **다음** 주야.

The next episode of the show airs tomorrow.
