鳥などが巣を作ったり使ったりすること。また、物事を入れ子構造にすることや、プログラムでコードをネストすることも指します。

自然界では巣作り、ITやデザインでは何かを入れ子構造にする意味です。「resting（休息）」と混同しないように注意。
