"nearest" in Spanish
Definition
Lo más cercano en distancia o posición a una persona o cosa. En algunos contextos, también puede referirse a lo más próximo en tiempo, significado o relación.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Suele ser el superlativo de 'near'. Es muy común antes de sustantivos: 'the nearest station', 'the nearest exit'. También puede ir después del verbo: 'Which hotel is nearest?' No lo confundas con 'next', que muchas veces significa inmediatamente siguiente en orden o tiempo, no solo el más cercano en distancia.
