“Nearer”是“near”的比较级，表示距离某个地方、时间或人更近。

“Nearer”用于比较两个事物或时间点，常与“to”连用（例如“nearer to the city”）。与“closer”意义接近，在多数情况下可以互换，但不要说“more nearer”。
