교회에서 신자들이 앉아 있는, 가장 넓고 중앙에 위치한 부분을 말합니다.

건축·종교 환경에서 주로 쓰이며 일상 대화에서는 드물게 사용됩니다. 'main nave', 'central nave'라는 표현이 자주 나옵니다. 'navy'(해군)와 혼동하지 마세요.
