一個人的出生，特別是指耶穌基督的誕生。也可以指在聖誕節常見的描繪耶穌出生的場景或模型。

"Nativity" 多在正式、宗教場合使用，尤其是“the Nativity”特指耶穌誕生。說到場景時會用 “nativity scene”，多數指聖誕節裝飾。很少泛指一般出生。
