おむつは、赤ちゃんがおしっこやうんちを吸収するために身につける柔らかい布や使い捨てのアイテムです。

'おむつ'はイギリス英語の'nappy'、アメリカ英語の'diaper'にあたります。主に乳幼児が対象です。よく使われる表現：『おむつを替える』『使い捨ておむつ』『布おむつ』など。大人用は稀です。
