تثبيت شيء على سطح آخر باستخدام المسامير. قد يُستعمل مجازياً بمعنى تأكيد أو إثبات أمر ما.

غالباً للاستخدام الحرفي، وأحياناً بشكل مجازي. 'nail to' تعني دائماً استعمال المسامير، لا تستخدم للكلام عن الغراء أو اللصق.
