Falar em voz baixa e pouco clara, muitas vezes reclamando ou falando sozinho.

Informal. Geralmente usado ao reclamar ou resmungar baixinho, muitas vezes de forma irritada. Diferente de 'sussurrar', pois 'mutter' mostra descontentamento ou irritação.
