Definition

কারও দ্বারা অনেক মানুষ বা বস্তু দ্রুত ও সহিংসভাবে গাড়ি, অস্ত্র বা অন্য কিছুর মাধ্যমে কেটে বা ধ্বংস করে ফেলা।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

খুব শক্তিশালী ও সহিংস অর্থে ব্যবহৃত হয়; সংবাদ ও নাটকীয় প্রেক্ষাপটে বেশি দেখা যায়। 'mow down the competition' বলতে প্রবল প্রতিদ্বন্দ্বিতায় সবাইকে হারিয়ে দেওয়া বোঝায়।
