Definition
Uma montanha é uma elevação natural do terreno muito alta, que se ergue de forma íngreme acima da área ao redor. É maior e mais alta do que uma colina.

Use para grandes elevações naturais: 'climb a mountain', 'at the top of a mountain', 'mountain road'. 'Hill' é menor e menos íngreme. 'Mountain' também aparece em expressões como 'a mountain of work' para indicar uma quantidade muito grande.
