ひとりの人物が長く話すこと。特に演劇や映画などでよく使われ、会話でも使われることがある表現。

演劇や映画でよく使われますが、日常会話でも誰かが一方的に話し続ける場合に使います。「dialogues」は二人以上の会話を指すので区別しましょう。
