蛻皮是動物脫落舊的皮膚、羽毛或殼來讓新組織生長的過程。常見於鳥類、昆蟲、爬蟲類等動物。

'Molting' 常用於鳥類、昆蟲、爬蟲類和甲殼類動物。不用於哺乳類。搭配：'蛻皮期'、'開始蛻皮'。不要與哺乳動物的掉毛（脫毛）混淆。
