Definition

누군가를 비웃거나 바보스럽게 보이도록 흉내내는 것. 또, 연습을 위해 실제와 비슷하게 실행하는 것을 의미함 (예: 모의시험).

Usage Notes (Korean)

'Mock'은 보통 부정적이지만 장난스럽게 쓸 수 있음. 'Mock exam', 'mock interview'는 실제가 아닌 연습용임을 뜻함. 'Mock at'는 현대 영어에서 거의 쓰이지 않음.
