2つ以上の物質が混ざり合っているが、化学的には結びついておらず、もとの成分に分けられるもの。

主に科学や教育、料理で使われます。「mixtures of liquids」や「chemical mixtures」などの表現が一般的です。「solution」とは異なり、溶けあっていません。
