思いがけない出来事や小さなトラブルのこと。たいてい深刻ではなく、ユーモアを交えて語られる場合が多い。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「misadventures」は子どもの頃の失敗談や旅行のエピソードなど、深刻でない場面で使われます。大きな悲劇には使用しません。
