Definition

습한 곳에서 표면에 희거나 회색으로 얇게 피는 곰팡이의 일종입니다. 주로 벽, 천, 음식 겉면에서 자랍니다.

'mildew'는 주로 표면에 생기는 얇은 흰 곰팡이에 쓰이며, 청소나 냄새와 관련된 이야기에서 자주 나옵니다. 음식이 상했을 때는 주로 '곰팡이' 또는 'mold'를 씁니다.
