Definition

中央値とは、数値を小さい順に並べたときの真ん中の値を指します。また、道路の車線を分ける中央分離帯も意味します。

数学や統計でよく使われ、「平均（mean）」とは異なります。道路での中央値は中央分離帯を指します。「平均」とは混同しないよう注意しましょう。
