長い練習や経験を経て物事を完全に理解し、扱うことができる状態。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
主に学問や専門的な技術習得について使われるフォーマルな言葉。“mastery of ～”の形で用いられ、高度なレベルを表す。 “masterpiece”とは意味が異なるので注意。
