Definition
「masterminds」は、複雑または秘密の活動の計画や指揮をする中心人物や発案者を指します。プロジェクトや犯罪の仕掛け人にも使います。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
犯罪や大きなプロジェクトについて使うことが多く、正式または中立的な表現です。「robbery」の場合は「首謀者」などがよく使われます。単数形は“mastermind”です。
