प्रयुक्त तब होता है जब लोग, वस्तुएँ या सैन्य टुकड़ियाँ किसी खास उद्देश्य से संगठित रूप से इकट्ठा हों। अधिकतर औपचारिक या समाचार में। 'massed troops', 'massed crowds' जैसे प्रयोग आम हैं। असंगठित भीड़ के लिए नहीं।
