প্রধানত জমি বা ভূমি বর্ণনায় ব্যবহৃত হয়; যেমন 'marshy ground' বা 'marshy area' বলা হয়। মানুষের জন্য ব্যবহার হয় না। সাধারণত গাছপালা ও প্রকৃতির সাথে যুক্ত।
