Definition

একটি কোমল, ভেজা জমি যেখানে সাধারণত ঘাস ও অগভীর পানি থাকে। এটি নদী, হ্রদ বা সমুদ্রের পাশে থাকে এবং অনেক গাছপালা ও প্রাণীর আবাসস্থল।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'marshland' মূলত পরিবেশ, বিজ্ঞান বা বর্ণনামূলক প্রসঙ্গে ব্যবহৃত হয়, কাদা-মাটি বা শুধুই জায়গা বোঝাতে নয়। 'swamp' বা 'bog' এর সাথে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না।
