Definition

‘Marches’ বলতে সংগঠিতভাবে হাঁটা বোঝায়, অনেক সময় প্রতিবাদ বা সমাবেশের অংশ হিসেবে, অথবা সৈনিকদের শৃঙ্খলাবদ্ধভাবে একসাথে হাঁটার প্রক্রিয়া।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

‘Protest marches’ মানে প্রতিবাদী মিছিল হয়; ‘military marches’ বললে সৈনিকদের শৃঙ্খলাবদ্ধ হাঁটা বোঝায়। দৈনন্দিন হাঁটা বোঝাতে 'marches' ব্যবহার হয় না। এটির সাথে 'আয়োজন/সংগঠন করা' (‘organize a march’) ধরনের ক্রিয়া ব্যবহার করা যায়।
