कागज या डिजिटल छवियाँ जो स्थानों जैसे शहर, देश या दुनिया का नक्शा दिखाती हैं। दिशा-निर्देश और स्थान जानने के लिए इस्तेमाल होती हैं।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

'Maps' 'map' का बहुवचन है। 'digital maps', 'paper maps' जैसे वाक्यांशों में सामान्य है। भौतिक या डिजिटल दोनों हो सकते हैं। कभी-कभी रूपक में भी आता है, जैसे 'maps of the mind'। इसे 'charts' (चार्ट्स/आरेख) से न मिलाएं।
