疥癬（けいせん）

Definition

疥癬は、主に犬や猫などの動物に見られる皮膚病で、ダニが原因で皮膚がかゆくなり、赤くなったり、毛が抜けたりします。

疥癬はほぼ動物に対して使われ、人間にはあまり使いません。主に獣医や保護活動などで使われます。「疥癬がある」のように、数えずに使います。

The stray dog has mange and needs treatment.

野良犬は**疥癬**にかかっていて、治療が必要です。
