অনানুষ্ঠানিক কথোপকথনে ব্যবহৃত হয়, সাধারণত পালানো বা চুরি করার ক্ষেত্রে। 'make off with' অর্থ—কিছু নিয়ে পালানো, যেমন 'make off with the money'।
