위엄은 위대하고 장엄하거나 존경을 받을 만한 기품을 의미합니다. 왕이나 여왕을 높여 부를 때 공식적으로 사용하는 호칭이기도 합니다.

주로 문학적, 공식적, 묘사적인 상황에서 사용됩니다. 'Your Majesty'는 군주에 대한 공식 호칭이고, 'the majesty of the mountains'는 자연의 장엄함을 나타냅니다. 'majority'와 혼동하지 마세요.
