عبارة غير رسمية وقديمة قليلاً؛ تستخدم غالبًا في الإنجليزية الأمريكية. تشبه 'mess up' أو 'screw up'. تُستعمل مع الأمور، الخطط أو المواقف وليس مع الأشخاص.
