البحث في كل مكان ممكن عن شيء أو شخص.

هذا تعبير اصطلاحي غير رسمي. يدل على بحث دقيق ومصر، غالباً عندما يكون من الصعب العثور على الشيء. يُستخدم عادة مع 'for' ('looked high and low for my keys'). لا يُستعمل للبحث السريع أو العابر.
