貴重品や鍵、重要書類などを安全に保管するための小さな鍵付きボックスや容器です。

主にビジネス、不動産、個人のセキュリティの場面で使われます。「key lockbox」「drop lockbox」といった表現がよく使われます。「セーフ（大型の金庫）」とは異なり、建物の外に取り付けるキー用ボックスを指す場合が多いです。
