Definition

価格や予定、契約などを後から変えられないように確定させること。また、誰かや何かを閉じ込めて外に出られなくする意味もある。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

値段や予定の“確定”、契約の“固定”の意味でよく使う。物理的な閉じ込めの意味はまれ。名詞や他の“lock”とは別物。
