Definition

人が住むのに十分な条件や快適さがあり、生活しやすい場所を指します。家や街、環境などに使われます。

主に家や都市、環境に対して使い、人には使いません。『unliveable（住めない）』の対義語で、イギリス英語でよく使われます。『liveable conditions』『make it liveable』のような表現で用います。

The apartment is very liveable now after the repairs.
