Definition

把某事視為生活中最重要的部分或主要的快樂來源。用於形容某人對某項活動、某人或某事充滿熱情。

非正式用語，後面常接名詞或動名詞，如“live for 音樂”、“live for 旅行”，用來表達強烈的情感依戀。不要和“live off”混淆（意為靠…維生）。

I live for chocolate ice cream.

我**為**巧克力冰淇淋**而活**。
