সবচেয়ে বড় বা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অংশকে বোঝায়, সাধারণত কিছু ভাগ-বাঁটোয়ারার ক্ষেত্রে।

সাধারণত 'get', 'have', 'take' ক্রিয়ার সাথে ব্যবহার হয়, যেমন 'lion's share পেয়েছে'। সাধারণত বণ্টনে কোন একটি পক্ষ সবথেকে বেশি উপকৃত হলে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
