একটি অপেরা, মিউজিক্যাল বা দীর্ঘ গীতিনাট্যের সমস্ত সংলাপ ও গানের কথা নিয়ে গঠিত লেখাগুলোকে বলা হয় লিব্রেত্তো।

'লিব্রেত্তো' প্রধানত শাস্ত্রীয় সংগীত বা অপেরার জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয়, সিনেমা বা নাটকের জন্য নয়।
