~을 겨누다~에게 (비판을) 가하다

Definition

무기나 비판 등 어떤 것을 특정 사람이나 대상으로 겨누다. 주로 비판이나 비난의 대상을 말할 때 사용한다.

주로 공식적/중립적 상황에서 사용. 'accusations leveled at', 'criticism leveled at' 같은 표현이 많음. 물리적으로 평평하게 하라는 뜻 아님.

The teacher leveled at the students with a serious warning.

선생님이 학생들에게 심각한 경고를 **겨누었다**.

Anger was leveled at the company after the accident.

사고 이후 분노가 회사에 **겨눠졌다**.

A gun was leveled at the suspect.

용의자에게 총이 **겨누어졌다**.

Many complaints were leveled at the new manager after the changes.

변화 이후 많은 불만이 새로운 관리자에게 **겨누어졌다**.

Criticism was leveled at the committee’s decision.

비판이 위원회의 결정에 **겨누어졌다**.
